Data Architect
We are embarking on a new strategic initiative for one of our U.S.-based clients, a leader in the auto insurance industry. We seek an exceptional Data Architect to become a pivotal team member for this challenge. As a Data Architect, your expertise will be central to developing our client’s Data Fabric platform. You’ll refine traditional data warehouse designs into unique, innovative structures. By staying alert to industry-leading tools and system designs, you’re instrumental in propelling our Enterprise Data Platform forward, delivering unparalleled value to our clients.
Our objective is to:
- Advance our data strategy with the introduction of new data governance and management systems
- Amplify our competitive edge by developing data-driven systems
- Integrate machine learning into our platform, enhancing our decision-making capabilities
We will be working together on the following:
- Making direct architectural decisions in the Enterprise Data domain, applying strong process and interpersonal skills
- Developing data models aligned with the requirements of our global stakeholders
- Designing data management and engineering procedures, including defining enterprise standards and practices
- Managing the flow of data, ensuring smooth communication within the organization
- Regularly evaluating existing data architecture, suggesting improvements when needed
- Collaborating with stakeholders to promote data-driven decision-making and enhance data understanding
- Ensuring adherence to architectural decisions and design principles
- Monitoring emerging technologies and assessing their potential for business enhancement
You might be our missing piece if you have:
- Degree in a technical field (like Computer Science) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or equivalent
- Firm understanding of database structure principles
- Experience analyzing extensive data sets from a diverse range of domains
- Proficiency in modeling ontologies and working with knowledge graphs (e.g., SPARQL, RDF*)
- Ability to gather and analyze system requirements
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js)
- Understanding of predictive modeling, NLP and text analysis, Machine Learning
- A passion for data and solving complex problems
- An analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail
- Comfort in working independently, handling ambiguity, and managing multiple projects concurrently
- Robust data or business domain experience and enthusiasm about the data platform growth
- Motivation to create a platform for secure and easily accessible data
